Excel Polymers, Rolls division, offers a wide variety of rubber compounds, specifically targeting the rubber roller industry. However, we also offer a complete line of calendered, rubber molding compounds for the flexographic and “stamp” industries.
The words “plate-gum” have been used historically to describe certain rubber compounds, primarily natural rubber, which are used in the process of making rubber plates for the flexographic printing or the rubber stamps industries. While these compounds have historically been natural rubber, Excel Polymers serves this market by offering a variety of rubber compounds that can be used in the molding process to make these products. We offer natural rubber, nitrile, and nitrile/pvc compounds in various colors, and can be calendered to our customer’s specifications.
