SOLON, Ohio – (August XX, 2007) – Excel Polymers LLC announces Kevin Chen has accepted the position of vice president of Excel Rubber Products in China.
 
In this role, Chen will manage and build a viable commercial organization and find and cultivate business opportunities for the overall Asian region. He will continue to propel Excel’s leadership position in the market and expand our global position.

Chen comes to Excel Polymers from DuPont Performance Elastomers and DuPont Dow Elastomers, where he held several positions during his fourteen-year tenure, including general manager, business manager, strategic planning manager, country business manager and sales and market development manager. Prior to joining DuPont, Chen was a Marketing executive for Shell Taiwan Limited.

Chen earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Taiwan Technology University, Taipei, Taiwain.
