Excel Polymers Industrial & Consumer business is the world’s largest manufacturer of elastomeric compounds for insulated cables. Excel has the possibility to formulate compounds to meet its clients’ specifications or can produce custom compounds that our clients have designed. There are five generic elastomer types in significant use in the wire and cable industry:

- Ethylene Propylene Diene (EPDM)
- Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE)
- Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM)
- Polychloroprene (CR)
Our compounds are manufactured with the highest quality ingredients that range from reinforcing fillers, curatives, accelerators, protectants, coupling agents, fire retardants, through to extenders and process aids.
