How do I use the “Search” function?
The search function allows you to find information within excel-polymers.com quickly and easily. To perform a search, type the word or phrase you wish to locate in the text box next to the “Search” heading then click “Go”.
You can search for parts of words or phrases by using a wildcard. If, for example, you are looking for information on Syncure but aren’t sure of the correct spelling of the product name, you can type “syn*”. The asterisk acts as a wildcard, indicating that search results should include words that begin with “syn”, including Syncure, Synprene, Synflex and others. The search function is not case sensitive; entering your search request in upper or lower case letters will not effect search results.

Can I get product specs online?
Yes! Technical Data Sheets can be found under Technical Literature in the Products & Services section. You can ask the system to provide a product recommendation based on the criteria you specify under the “Search by Attributes” column, or request a fast lookup of all products in a particular line.
At this time, Technical Data Sheets are not available online for all products. Complete contact information for requesting off-line (paper) product specs is provided on the Technical Data Sheets home page.

How do I request product literature?
Many business units have made their literature available online for your convenience. Simply go to Products & Services, select a business unit, and look for “Technical Literature” in the links on the left side of the page. If you’re looking for specific literature that is not available online, contact information is included on the Overview page for each business unit.

I have PolyOne product literature. Is this information still accurate?
Yes! Our name may have changed, but our products have not. While we will be developing new literature consistent with our new corporate identity, the product information in our existing literature is still accurate. If you have questions, contact your Excel Polymers sales rep.

How do I find information on a specific brand of product?
There are several ways to find product information:
- Look up the general group you are interested in under the Products & Technologies section, and look for a “Products & Services” link in the nav bar on the left side of the page. Clicking this link will take you to overview information on specific products within that group.
- Type the name of the product you are looking for into the Search box located on the top left corner of every page. (See “How do I use the search function?” question if you need help.)
- For product specs, look for Technical Data Sheets under the Technical Literature section of Products & Services.
