Two Employees Join Excel Polymers Team |
|
Excel Polymers is pleased to announce two new hires to our team. Rich Bagenstose is the new Regional Account Manager for Canada and New England and will be a member of the Northern Sales Team. Gerardo Silva is a Regional Account Manager with responsibilities in the Mexican market. Rich Bagenstose, Regional Account Manager Bagenstose spent the past seven years as territory manager for Koch Industries selling asphalt, emulsions and roadway pavement solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. He was responsible for managing key customer relationships, new business development and launching new specialty polymer systems. He also utilized a team of field engineers and marketing support teams to successfully deliver value-added solutions to his market. He had full P&L and budgeting responsibilities for his territory and was successful in delivering significant growth and profit improvement during is tenure at Koch. Bagenstose is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He lives in Leesport, Penn., with his wife Kristen and their two children, Mason and Riley. Gerardo Silva, Regional Account Manager Silva will play a critical role in expanding our presence within the Mexican market. He will be an integral member of the Queretaro team in delivering superior customer service. His home base will be Queretaro, which is a central location to service the majority of our customers. Gerardo has more than eight years of sales experience directly related to targeting OEM’s and the auto industry. He penetrated the OEM market and introduced new products by delivering value and a high level of customer service to meet the rigid demands of this market. Gerardo has successfully implemented value-selling strategies allowing him to build relationships with his customers resulting in win-win outcomes. Gerardo has a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Business and trade from ITESM in Mexico. Gerardo and his wife, Katherine Mason, and his son Rodrigo Silva will be relocating from Mexico City to the Queretaro area in the near future. |
